To qualify for the federal Lifeline program, individuals or families must have an income of 135% or less of federal poverty guidelines or participate in any of the following programs:

• Medicaid

• Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)

• Supplemental Security Income (SSI)

• Federal Public Housing Assistance

• Veterans Pension and Survivors Benefit Programs

 

If you are a recipient of one of these programs, you should call your local phone service provider to confirm your eligibility and to enroll.
